She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. She also earned a Juris Doctor degree from Western New England University School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts. While residing in Massachusetts, Kedra served as a Judicial Extern in the Hampden County Housing Court in Springfield where she drafted memoranda and opinions to assist the court in its decisions concerning those who were facing imminent evictions, housing code violations, and title disputes.
Currently, she is a member of the American Bar Association and serves on committees dedicated to improving the lives of those entangled in family law litigation. Some of Kedra’s published works include “Alternatives to Filing an Appeal: Motions for Reconsideration” and “Determining the Gross Income of a Military Service Member”. Kedra commits several hours a year to pro bono work throughout the metropolitan Atlanta area.
In her spare time, Kedra enjoys shopping with her teenage daughter, reading self-help books of all types, and blogging about hot topics in the law.
